I’m proud to complete another local design and print job. The North Walsham & District Community Archive 2019 calendar joins its predecessors. A 2 colour, litho printed, 32 page A4 calendar of North Walsham and local district scenes, photographed by local photographers, supported by local advertisers, produced in North Walsham (yep, that’s me!) and printed locally. You be hard pressed to find a more community created product. It’s useful, collectable and top quality. I really hope that many people will keep copies of these calendars for years to come as they will then preserve North Walsham’s photographic heritage for future generations. Which is, after all, what the North Walsham and District community archive group was set up to achieve.
The Bullets EP Collection CD album artwork sorted!
The Bullets are a seriously hard rockin’ and tight 3 piece rockabilly outfit on the Western Star label and I’ve been lucky enough to work on artwork and pre-press several of their releases now. This is the latest, it’s a 13 track CD album which brings together all the tracks from their 3 vinyl EP releases on Western Star plus a new bonus track

Sounds from the Haunted Jukebox compilation CD
Western Star compilation now off to the pressing plant for Halloween release. “Sounds from the Haunted Jukebox – Songs that go bump in the night” compilation CD features 24 rockabilly and psychobilly recordings from the Western Star Recording Studio all based on the darker side of the labels output. Songs about werewolves, demons, witches, vampires and zombies. Just my sort of thing. I got full reign over this packaging job including the illustration work which is great because the meeting of rock ‘n’ roll and horror pretty much sums up the pursuits of my whole life!
Repackaging for vinyl re-release for classic Sharks EP.
I have just been repackaging this classic EP from “The Sharks” for a re-release on the Trophy record label on 45RPM vinyl. I remember getting the “Phantom Rockers” LP from Andy’s Records back in the day and it was the first time I’d come across the style that I have called psychobilly ever since. Yes, there was The Meteors and Cramps but the whole headshaving, ripped jeans super fast bass slapping thing was just an awesome modification to the whole rock ‘n’ roll thing I already loved. Another fine release to be involved with
The Surfin Wombatz – Menagerie of Abomination CD album
I have recently been working on the packaging for this new album for another of psychobillies great originals still terrifying audiences today. Great cover art which ties in with their rockin’ 10″ vinyl I got to work on a little while back for Western Star. Now with the pressing plant and soon to be released on the unsuspecting public like some hiddeous beast crawling from the unconsecrated soil
